These images of crimes against stone came from kitchens that were NOT fabricated by North Island Granite.
They are however, prime examples of poor or mediocre work put out by stone shops that are either inexperienced or just plain careless.
This album has not been created as a tool for intimidation, but rather as a source of information for prospective clients and other people who think they might have some issues with their stone installations.
There is no good reason why any granite kitchen should look like the examples in these pictures.

Terrible caulking
Awful corner and edgework. Bad polish
Terrible "fix" and even worse edge finish
Sad attempt at surface polishing
Dull, bleached looking edge
A jigsaw of seams in what should be a single piece top
Attrocious color- and vein matching
Bad vein matching
Attempt to hide a bad fit with a worse caulk job.
Bad polish, even worse fit.
Awful edge. It is not even close to being polished.
